The Business Unit of EMS-GRILTECH is an independent
business unot of the EGA group. The EMS group
employs over 2700 people around the world.
Localted in Sumter, South Carolina, EMS-CHEMIE (North America)
Inc. employs 100 people.
The Sumter plant produces homo polyamides 6, 6.6, 6.10 and 12,
multipolymers and partially aromatic polyamides for engineering
polymer applications as well as copolyamides for various adhesive
applications.

three independent business units:

• EMS-GRILTECH for technical fibers and
adhesive applications
EMS-PRIMID for coating
applications
The Technical Service Center located on the plant site in Sumter,
SC offers our customers the opportunity to conduct various adhesive
coating, laminating and testing trials on state-of-the-art equipment.
